At the A-C Central Middle and High School Veterans Day Assembly, the fifth graders collected donations for Wreaths Across America. The amount of money collected this year was a total of $210, which was enough to sponsor 14 wreaths. These wreaths were placed at Camp Butler National Cemetery on December 16th, 2017. The money was given to the Springfield Civil Air Patrol who participates in the ceremony and places the wreaths. The collection was yet another way for our Middle and High School to say thank you to our Veterans for their service to our country.
