Our 5th grade ag students wrapped up their pumpkin unit Friday by making pumpkin pie in a bag. They had a great time measuring, mixing, and putting everything they learned to use. It was a fun way to end the unit!

During the last blood drive hosted by STAR, the results were:
• 21 donors presented
• 20 total collected
• 10 first time donors
And Potentially saved 60 lives! 🩸❤️
Since we reached over 20 units, we were presented with the Life Savings Grant from ImpactLife. STAR members chose to present this $270 check to the Cass County Food Pantry. Thank you to everyone that donated!!

Veterans Day Ceremony is coming up!!
S.T.A.R. students visited the elementary school today to teach younger students about the dangers of drugs and alcohol. Working in small groups, they led fun and educational activities that included discussions on making healthy choices, a game of Simon Says, coloring, and even a lively charades game featuring healthy habits!
Last week Mrs. Lovekamp's Exploratory class created elephant toothpaste as part of their "Messy October" experiment series.
